Matthew Palentchar began to practice law in Florida more than a decade ago. In that time, he has tended to specialize in real estate, corporate transactions, probate, simple estate planning, and small business law. It’s been an interesting career. After completing law school at Ohio Northern University, Matt moved to Florida and passed the bar exam and began with a stint at a general practice law firm in Naples, Florida, but soon after, he formed and ran Matthew G. Palentchar, Esq., P.A. until 2010, when a life threatening illness and other personal issues caused him to leave Florida for a time.

However, he became well and got through those personal problems and returned to Florida more focused and feeling better than ever and formed Matthew G. Palentchar, PLLC in St. Petersburg, Florida, where he now loves with his lovely wife and their two dogs. He has made a life in the law.

Matt Palentchar’s current firm features a more specific focus on real estate transactions and property law, so he commonly represents lenders, purchasers and sellers in complex commercial transactions. Despite that, he also performs more common, real estate work, such as title searches, title exams, and issuing title insurance for residential and commercial closings. In addition to being a member in good standing of the Florida Bar, Matt also likes to spend his free time volunteering for CASA as a court appointed Guardian Ad Litum for disadvantaged children.
